1. Windows Client Administration
2. Windows Server Administration
Client Administration training is about mastering any Microsoft Client Windows Operating System (ex: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)
The Curriculum for Client Administration includes the below:
a. Architecture of the OS and Functionality
b. Install and Configuration
c. Application Maintenance
d. Troubleshooting
e. Network and Internet
f. Understanding Hardware and Device Installation
g. Security
Administration of Microsoft Server Operating System (ex: Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Windows 2000) curriculum:
a. Architecture of the OS and Functionality
b. Install and Configuration
c. Server Roles
d. Server Management
e. Troubleshooting
f. Active Directory Concepts (Understanding Active Directory, Group Policies)
g. Network and Internet (DNS, DHCP, RIS, RAS) As in whole the above curriculum should give a good idea on Windows Administration
